Does anyone have first hand experience of Land Rover bikes? I'm looking in particular at the Six 50 Hydro. Not sure if they are good quality bikes or just a cheap frame badged up

I'd stay away. Seen bikes with L/R badge before.
Better off using a decent bike shop and going for a brand like Specialized, Trek, Giant etc.
Your local bike shop should give good advice and ensure you get the right size frame  Another member of the failed FL2 clutch/DMF club, twice.
