Hi All,
First post so sorry if its been asked before.
I am due to swap my steering wheel for a new, genuine one. I have puller tool etc but need to know if the airbag warning light will come on or need to be reset after i plug it all back in.
Any help much appreciated

I assume you know that you MUST disconnect the battery and let the car go to sleep before even going near it with an airbag removal tool.
And no, you won't get any airbag warning lights coming on. FL2 now gone and have a couple of items left for sale:-

Assume the stereo wont need any codes to make it work after battery disconnect?

You will need to reset the windows and sunroof if you have one.

No, only when I changed the battery I had to reset the windows and sunroof. Disconnecting the battery will do the same thing.

I had my battery disconnected a few times positive terminal off only, then on Saturday with both terminals off and electric windows work fine.
By resetting the windows, what does that actually cure and do, also what is the process of resetting?

No problem. If your windows worked fine then you got away with it. 'Normally' when the battery is disconnected and reconnected the windows will not auto open/close. There is a reset sequence posted on here and in the manual and my brain is such that it no longer retains these useful bits of info, so I cannot recall it for you. There is also a similar sequence required for the sunroof.

thanks for that, will keep in mind in case I have an issue in future.

All I have to do after the battery is connected is reset my locking to "all doors unlocked" rather than the 2 phase unlocking.
Oh and I have to reset the clock. FL2 now gone and have a couple of items left for sale:-

Come to think of it, I can't remember if you have to resync the phone to the Bluetooth as well?
