My neighbour remarked when I got home this afternoon, that when I left in the morning, there was a rattling sound and this object fell on to the driveway. Can anyone tell me what it is - and should I be worried? The car seems fine, but you never know ......

Had a look at Avtur's photos of theFL2 belly and saw noting recognisable but the photos where mostly of the aft part. Anyway if LR put it there it does serve some pourpose even if trivial. Maybe a short call to LR Assist if you don't have a call near the dealer?

Just had a quick crawl under my fl2, no big deal as I have my 'work' clothes on. I couldn't find anything resembling that piece. I mainly checked the exhaust brackets.

Thanks for all your help on this. I've still no idea. The car is still functioning as normal, so it may just be a bit of a "red herring" - who knows. Will drop into an LR Centre when I get a chance sometime. Chris |

.......maybe it never fell off your FL2 - but the noise was it being caught on the tyre in the wheel arch, as you drove over it. Meaning - it has fallen off something else / another vehicle ?
