Just thinking of painting the slats on my grill gloss black as a number of posters have done (I think it looks good). Taken a close look at the grill and I’ve noticed the grey paint (Brunel Grey I think they call it) is flaking off in some small areas. Looks like small stone chips but the paint comes off very easily when you get your nails underneath. The slats appear to be a dull black finish underneath.

Yes mines older than yours but been doing it ever since I've had it. |
