TD4 air filter vibes

Hello,

Today I've noticed new noise coming from under the bonnet.
After opening it I saw that air filter case is vibrating very strongly and all oil change labels connected with its too Smile
These oil labels' noise was noticeable from cabin when bonnet was closed!

I've hold oil change labels by my hand and there was ok, no noise.
Additionally the electical cord to the air filter sensor is ragged because of this shakes, but don't need reparation yet, only I must apply new insulating tape for it.

But the air filter case is still vibrating strongly, more than engine vibrates.
The car is 4 years old and as I remember It it was no such virbations when it was brand new.

Are there any common problems with air filter box "suspension" and does anyone how to fix this myself?

Much thanks

BTW. I guess all FL2 electrical cord problems are releated to diesel Engine vibrations!

On the 2008 diesel the air box is held in place by rubber grommets underneath
Make shore there lined up and just push down on the air box 👍

I have had this a couple of times when the box wasn't pushed into the grommets properly. I also had it once when the car had been in for a service and one of the grommets was missing, presumably dislodged during replacement of the air filter. 3 x FL1 2 manual + 1 auto

On mine, it did it after it came back from the main steelers having some warranty work done,

When I had a look the "Master Technicians" had left the nut and washer off that holds the organ pipe bracket to the engine cover Laughing
