some insurance companies will give discounts if the are registered with CASSOA

But what i would say is the most popular (The Caravan Club) don't do this

So in my case, I don't have room at home as I live on a hill and the drive way slopes as well which make access very difficult Sad

Apart from the added security of the site you/r friend is looking at offering, in my case why pay the extra

I could park it at the local gypsy encampment as long as i have one form of security (wheel clamp or hitchlock) attached if i was to leave the van for more than 2 hours and set the alarm with no discount or additional premium Laughing Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis

Another thing as well, i believe fire safety rules state the vans have to be kept so far apart, and my local CASSOA prefer not to have a wheel clamp attached, as it caused problems with a few that caught fire Shocked , and the fire brigade just let them burn because they could move them away to a safer location Shocked Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis

Ah but well but hmmm, lets say they wouldn't be as easy to steal and then sell on as peoples valuables . Although in reality those stores are probably full of some right old junk. At work

since my farmer has been told by his "landlords"? that he does not have their permission to store caravans after 10 years of doing so, I now have to find myself a new place to store my caravan Evil or Very Mad

I presume there is something else behind the story i was told, possible down to planning permission, as above 5 vans you require it, but either way i am looking

CG did your mate sort his storage out, if so, and locality i might be interested

CG I hope you haven't been buying my farmers land Whistle Thumbs Up Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis

i don't think its cheeky at all Shocked

CG posted a legitimate question on behalf of his friend, and I am enquiring whether his friend has set up his caravan storage business since i live within his & his friends general area.

My 'friend' never did go down that route, But 'he' has other farm sheds currently storing a boat,a caravan and various military vehicles. 'His' caravan storage rate is £20/week (special offer £2/week for non-vaners Cool )

All shed are currently full, so my 'friend' has just been away spending all the rental income in a luxury Grasmere Hotel. Thumbs Up At work
