Not sure about your car as it is newer but with the older models if you have an 'H' in the middle of your VIN number, this means you don't have a DPF. |

A quick 10 second job get under the car and take a look. The large rectangular box at the front with the ridges is the DPF. I do a lot of town driving and once a month I take the car out for a 30min run. I have never had any DPF issues yet

It was mentioned above that the 10th character of the VIN Code was indicator of whether your Freelander had cDPF fitted.

Have you ever noticed generally how clean the undersides of the cars seem to be on this forum, do they ever go off tarmac? 3 x FL1 2 manual + 1 auto
