Lawn Advice

My front lawn has suffered over the winter, yellow grass, looks awful.
I have discovered the problem is a leather jacket infestation, I have read about some treatment you can water on containing a live nematode that kills the leather jackets.
Everywhere I read it says the soil temperature needs to be at least 10deg, mine is currently 6deg, or the nematodes will be dormant.
Has anyone any experience with this treatment ? If I put it on early will the nematodes start to become active once the temperature comes up, or should I just wait until temps are higher before treatment?

i have lawn issues too, i have patches of brown in the back garden, which seemed to occur over the winter, i have tried seeding and lawn soil, but the brown patches are still there and no shooting of new grass

I looked closer and found it to be caused by the bloody dog running all over it in the wet

going to have to fence some of it off till it grows Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis

After the winter we've had and with 3 dogs now, I'm aiming for a recreation of the Somme in the back garden. Its 80% there currently.

Need to fence it off, resow seeds and pray that it takes before we put the house on the market.

I find the lawn useful when washing mud off the car.
