That's a massive bargain for someone! Since you've 'burnt them in' for a few hours use, the colour temperature will be even better (whiter and more pleasing to the eye) than a pair of brand new bulbs and they really offer a much improved light output than the standard Osram 66340 HBI's. I loved mine and wish I had swapped them out of my last car before I traded it in. If I didn't have my heart set on buying either some Osram CBI's, I'd be snapping them up. GLWTS!

I am happy with the lights on my MY15, however, it is noticeable there is no longer a further bulb to accompany high beam. I cannot understand why they have reduced the overall lighting power, it is also the same on other new products in the LR range, the D4 for example to name 1.

They haven't reduced the lighting power, the reason there is no longer a separate bulb for main beam, is that the headlight simply opens a shutter to allow the bulb to give the main beam effect. The shuts for dipped beam.

My Audi is just the same.

I have upgraded the bulbs in my 13MY to 6000k bulbs and they are for sure better, and give that Xenon blue tint that the standard 4500k bulbs failed to give. Freelander 2 HSE Lux 2013MY - Barolo Black with Ivory Leather. Alpine DVD - Privacy -Evoque 20" Dynamic Wheels and more to come.........

I would have thought two bulbs should give a better light than one, certainly did on my disco3!

Mav, I must disagree, there is a difference from experience with my FL and having had many LR and other lesser company cars, even my wife xenon Fiat 500 gets better with the supplementary halogen full beam on as well as the shutter fully opening on the xenon.
