Rather surprised it hasn't happened earlier, perhaps it has but didn't get out. Dog shows are dangerous places for dogs, some of the exhibitors are not the nicest people you could meet, this was back in the 70's and I doubt it has improved. Human nature does seem to have taken a turn for the worst in recent years. my PC is slightly to the right of Genghis

NIck's right though - the original post is about American dog food, the second is about dog shows being dangerous places, then there's the link to the dog show poisoning. Looks like Dartman must be psychic and foresaw the dog show story! |

our boy won best of breed at Crufts 2 years ago (Gordon Setter), and I can tell you I wasn't leaving him unattended for a second. So many people are in it for the money now they will do anything to beat the competition. Such a shame as the people (like us) who are just in it for the fun of it are a dying breed.
