"Baby sitting"

My mate & his wife have 3 wee girls, all the females in the household wanted a dog. Unfortunately the youngest is allergic to a few things , dogs included. A friend of theirs has a cockerpoodle, they took the dog to play with Kate for a few ours and all seemed well. So they went ahead and bought one, wee Kate (only 4) is coming out in rash where the dog has licked her.
The upshot is we have a lodger for a week , if Kate's symptoms dissapear wee cooper will be up for sale.

One has to be very careful with these doodle, oodle and poo dogs, the poodle itself is hypo allergenic, however the the cross breeds of the poodle may or may not be hypo allergenic, even from the same litter some may be most won't be to different degrees. Though there are many who say they are, there is a lot of re-homing of dogs sold as hypo allergenic. my PC is slightly to the right of Genghis

If it's only where she was licked, can't they live with it and teach it not to lick or not let it lick? My wife is allergic to certain animals. She'd come out in a rash if our cat licked her. Just had to be careful and as she said, a rash now and then is a small price to pay for the joy that comes with owning a loving pet. It's not as if she couldn't breath in the vicinity of the dog, was it? Now horses and certain dogs are a different matter for my wife. She has real trouble breathing when near them so she has to avoid them. She has no problems allergy wise with our working cocker spaniel.

Not sure about the breathing Steve, the wee girl Kate has a "cold" according to her mum Kate isn't breathing too well just now . That's why the dog is out of the equation , to see if Kate settles down.

This is a better picture of him.
