I think it is just the power socket (cigar lighter type), not actually a cigar lighter as such (although I'm sure it would work if you plugged one in). FL2 Metropolis, Loire Blue, ebony/ivory |

Yes, sorry I misled, just the socket there with a dust cover, no actual cig lighter there. |

My '07 has a power socket in the rear top corner of the centre console but I don't have one in the boot. |

They only fold or unfold at a set speed ( 10mph or 15mph? someone else might know the right figure ) IT caught me out a few times when I first got the freelander On my i20 Hyundai you could elec fold the mirrors at any speed so if you was going down a side road or a tit on a push bike was hogging the road you could say at 20mph fold them in and then back out once pasted, but not on the freelander To keep them in say on a motorway to reduced drag you would have to fold them in before getting on and open them up when you get off Don't think that's all to safe Guess they do this because the mirrors are not very sleek and the motor might fail or burn out at 50mph plus to push its self open against the wind pressure Good read though Freelander 57 plate XS Blue Auto |

Mirror fold on the move doesn't work on mine, I haven't tried at very low speed though, i.e. 5mph.
