England 2007 Freelander 2 TD4 XS Manual Stornoway Grey

Thanks Pegleg, just shows never to old to learn something new !
Got all kit to attack this multi-connector at weekend when hopefully a bit better weather.
Contralube 770 and syringe at the ready!
Keeping fingers crossed issue doesn't occur again before then. Freelander 2 XS+ TD4 Manual, Stornoway Grey

Update:
Attacked this connector Saturday morning.
Followed suggestion of using Contralube 770 and used syringe to insert solution in to all the apertures of the plug.
Inserted and re-inserted several times to wipe connectors.
Whilst there did other multi-plugs also .... just in case same was occurring with them.
Reassembled and when system re-booted all was fine.
Fingers crossed it stays that way !! Freelander 2 XS+ TD4 Manual, Stornoway Grey

Forgot to say in previous mail.
When issue started I emailed LR Customer services in case there was a history of this issue that they could advise on.
Nothing heard for a while then received telephone call where they offered to cover a diagnostics check !
As car is an 07 I thought this was excellent service.

However when trying to book-in with LR dealer they didn't agree that LR would cover cost.
After some more emails I finally got agreement from LR customer service that they would indeed cover total cost of diagnostic check no matter how long it took.
They stated that this statement was a mistake but they had listened to the recorded call and agreed that promise had been made albeit in error, however would stand-by statement.

Bit of a wait to booking date but thought may as well get this done under the cost promise as well as perhaps showing up something else that may be lurking. Freelander 2 XS+ TD4 Manual, Stornoway Grey
