I wonder, will there be a run on the last lot of Freelanders or will dealers be offering discounts to clear the way for the DS ?

My wife retires this year and she really loves her FL2 (shes had 5) and a newer one would be a nice prezzy. The DS will be a great seller Im sure but Id hate to put all the stuff our FL2s have carted around in the past (filthy dogs, bricks, cement, wood etc) and so I cant see us moving up to a less practical car. (I keep a can of Febreze in the FL2 to hide that wet dog smell).

So I was hoping I would be able get a new FL2 for a good price - any chance of that do you think ? Jules

Production of Freelander 2 ended in October 2014. As far as I'm aware the last new Freelander 2's were sold in December.

My DS will be used for exactly that, it's a Land Rover just the same as the Fl2. 21MY Defender 90 S 3.0 D200

In the Poland all unreg 2014 sold.
Still a few unreg 2013 Freelanders left but not the same side of steering wheel
But if someone from continental Europe wants to buy...

Bit the bullet. Have bought a 64 plate SE Tech SD4 with 5000 miles- has a few options on it . Happy with the PX on my old FL2 too. Jules

I've Googled about what means "64 plate".
Interesting way to specify the day of reg.
It's no such simple for our reg plates.
