I need some assistance with sourcing an LHD Freelander 2 SE/HSE Td 4 (not eD4 or Sd4) in Europe or UK. For the life of me, I haven't found a half-decent example anywhere!

I'm scanning both autoscout24.de/.com and mobile.de and the German Land Rover 'gebrauchtwagen' site. Autotrader and exchange and mart in the UK. I did find one in Antwerp, but it turned out to be a lemon - was from an LR dealer, too!

The ideal specs are as follows:-
Manual, late 2011 to early 2013, Almond/beige interior, mileage: less than 55,000 km either SE or HSE.

Budget is south of 28,000 eu.

If any esteemed members of the forum can provide any pointers as to where I could look, even in the UK I'd really appreciate it!!

Sorry can't remember the details but there is a specialist in ex-military vehicles who was offering new LHD Freelanders at a very good price "for export only". You might be able to find details on here with a bit of searching. Ex AA Series III LWB Safari - Gone
300TDi Disco (bought new - terrible car) sent back after 18 months
Freelander 1 Estate - leased, given back at end of lease
200TDi Disco (bought from a mate with 100,000 on the clock) - Gone
Disco 2 TD5 - sold and exported to France
FR2 TD4 GS - Gone
FR2 SD4 HSE - Now changed for a DS
New model ex-demo Evoque S 180 in white
Unable to order a new DS, so gave up. Now have a Volvo S90 Recharge.

Sadly I think the 'for export only' means that if you bought for eu VAT would need to be slapped on...

Yes, and it's for export OUTSIDE THE EU only. so maybe doesn't fit your requirements. It's possible that they have been sold as "not for registration". I sold a MoD Series 1 like that once, and we had to insist it was "for parts only" and could not be registered on the road. Ex AA Series III LWB Safari - Gone
