Blimey, sounds like that's another race you don't like. First caravanners, now home bakers...that's exactly how Hitler started!

Hey, you're not trying to create a master race are you? All those buxom blonde, blue eyed chickens that you raise and you right behind them with your cock ................

Yep, used a breadmaker for years. The results are way better than the rot you buy at the soopermarket, and it takes only a minute or so to do it.
And... Panasonic. There really is no other choice. ...

We banished our breadmaker to the loft as we were all suffering from severe 'bread bloat'.

The warm, fresh, aromatic loaves were just too seductive, and would be totally consumed within minutes of being turned out.

Due to our lack of willpower to step away from the loaf, we're considering something less addictive, such as crack cocaine Smile

What a lot of wimps.

Do it properly BY HAND.
I make two 1lb. loafs every 10 days. One for immediate consumption and one to go in the freezer.
I enjoy all the benefits above but with the added advantage of a workout for the arm and back muscles. Laughing

Bill.

Made my first bread today without a bread maker. Sort of 50/50; food processor for kneading and knocked back by hand.
My Aunty told me to put a bowl of warm water in the oven to improve texture.
Result? Yummy.
Shan't be buying a bread maker now thanks to you Bill Thumbs Up Another member of the failed FL2 clutch/DMF club, twice.

I nearly bought that one because it was in stainless steel but plumped for the SD2500. The only advantage of the SD25002 is that it has an automatic nut/raisin dispenser - fine if you make those types of loaves. It is taller/wider/deeper than the 2500. Having said that, I've just nicked some spices and dried fruit off of my mum and I'm making a spicey fruit loaf so I will have to wait for the timer to tell me when to chuck the dried fruit in. Whistle To be continued ...............? Laughing
