That's commendable however I don't think there's anything unfair in being paid a living wage, as you do for your staff, but we could only hope that more people and business would have the moral compass and integrity that you display. |

Spot on MM. My vet is an independent farm vet, not a franchise or just a 'pet vet'. They provide the best they can for all animals as they really care. It's just not a profession, it's a way of life. She only has a pet surgery a few hours a week to fit around farm visits. Without pets, the business would probably go bump as getting money out of some farmers around here is more difficult than putting a man on Mars. Most of the farmers are in debt anyway. Balancing a practice around such difficulties must be really hard.
