Yes, that's what everyone says... Including the accountant
But I have to live with myself....
I want to make money by volume not by overcharging.
I like to work hard and would rather be fair.
... Do they still have debtors prison!??

That's commendable however I don't think there's anything unfair in being paid a living wage, as you do for your staff, but we could only hope that more people and business would have the moral compass and integrity that you display.

Did you know they have TARGETS!!? I mean how can you have a target in this job!???

These chains... Franchises give a cut back to head office...
Independents like me don't! I and many others pass these savings on to my clients.

Spot on MM. My vet is an independent farm vet, not a franchise or just a 'pet vet'. They provide the best they can for all animals as they really care. It's just not a profession, it's a way of life. She only has a pet surgery a few hours a week to fit around farm visits. Without pets, the business would probably go bump as getting money out of some farmers around here is more difficult than putting a man on Mars. Most of the farmers are in debt anyway.
Balancing a practice around such difficulties must be really hard. Thank the Lord the likes of MM and my vet are in it for the love of it and not just money Thumbs Up Another member of the failed FL2 clutch/DMF club, twice.
