Hi guys, whilst i wait for the right freelander to come up im planning my infotainment additions. One thing i have planned is a visual representation of park distance control on the factory screen. This will be either via a car pc tied directly in to the can bus, or a using a bluetooth elm with a custom iphone app and apple tv. Probably the first option as my iphone coding ability is quite limited.

What i need to know is on 2009MY when sensors are active does the factory system emit a continuous tone that increases/decreases in frequency, or is it one that emits a series of beeps that get closer together or end in a constant tone.

On mine it is a series of beeps, don't think LR ever changed it?
