Finland 2010 LR2 i6 HSE Auto Alaska White
US bought LR2 radio frequensies

Hello all!

The 2010 LR2 I bought from the US has (like most US based car radios) a radio that can grasp only the odd FM (ie. 95.1... 95,3... 95.5..) frequencies... this is a bit annoying...

Is there any way you can change or remove this... as like most normal countries Finland uses also even ones... Cool

Any and all help is appreciated!!!

Greetings Qs-man
I've no idea how you'd reprogramme the existing radio unit - if indeed that is at all possible - but until someone on here comes along with a solution have fun with your FL2.

On erittäin mukava päivä

I think the same problem occurs with Japanese cars, many of which are imported into UK because of right hand driving position. So I searched for the solution used in UK. Hope this helps:

Thanks for the heads up, but I am not sure it will work in this case. HOwever I might be wrong here as this is way out of my pure mechanical comfort zone...

The thing is when I read about how it works, it just seems to expand the radios MHz area more, but I do not see how it will help getting the odd decimals with the even ones.

Guessing here Smile
but maybe you can replace the receiver module that is behind the rear boot panel shown as 18C852, there are quite a few 'sub part numbers' under that, dependant on country but a dealer should know.

aah, tha actually might be a good idea... I will have to ask about that when I go and take my car to get the softaware changed to European.

I hope it will not cost an arm and a leg though... Confused

Thanks! Thumbs Up

Well still after 3+ years I have this same problem... I have pretty much bought and swapped all possible I can think of and I still can not get the "even" frequencies... I have "by passed" this by connecting a MP3/radio to the aux system, but definitely not ideal...

Has anyone found a solution for this? Land rover dealers are not willing to help with my issue. If someone knows a fix... Please help!!!
