So it's last time to show You my old Freelander in it's natural environment .

You can enter my own gallery to see better resulotion photo.
It's MY2011 with TD4 engine and manual transmision.
As I remember the main news for 2011 facelift were new front grill, start-stop system and TD4 engine tuned up to 420Nm of torque.
It has "S"-spec.
I am not sure if it was available in the UK but "S" is even lower version to the "SE"
My Freelander 2 S comes with Design packet.
This edition was called S Design here in Poland.
It has body colored door handles, wing mirrors, all bumpers, the side area under the doors (don't know English name), etc - same as higher speced Freelanders.
I had paid additionally for rear spoiler, rear parking sensors and stornaway grey lacquer.
It's very reliable car. It hadn't any serious faults and only a few not critical problems.
My lowest average fuel consumption was 6,5 liters per 100km with A/C turned on. It was on premium fuel.
It was just gently drive without using eco-driving rules.
I'm usually driving more dynamically and my fuel consumption is higher.
The photo was taken during forest trip & mushrooming, this is popular activity in the Poland but as far as I know in the other countries might be prohibited or is considered as strange or dangerous. I am still alive after this
BTW. It's not first British car I've ever drived, my parents had Rover Montego many years ago.

Hi poporocki. Your car looks good! Stornaway Grey is a classic colour. The area under the door is the "sill" in English, BTW.
Re the Montego - I am not so sure about that, but if you liked it, I do believe you had found too many mushrooms!
In UK, it is not so strange to look for mushrooms - you just have to be careful to find the "safe" ones! 10MY (Sept 09) TD4 HSE Auto in Stornoway Grey (Now Gone)
