Model: Freelander 2 / L359 Selling dealer: M2400H0471
Model year: 2013 Warranty start date: 07-Feb-2014

Is this the date the car was put on the road?
as the V5 has 7-10-2013 as Acquired vehicle date for the first keeper.

Quite possibly pre registered on the first date? It would seem to work in your favour

Worth dropping a line to LRCS, as from a LR perspective, the warranty starts the day that the vehicle is first registered. It may well be that as a pre-reg by the dealer that they (the supplying dealer) will pick up the shortfall by 4 months should the worst happen, but for peace of mind I would send the LRCS Team a quick email. Foraging near Gaydon....
