Could be the sensor not attached to the screen correctly, the screen will not have sensors in it, it's just a case of attaching your sensors to the new screen. p****d off with a Digital Keyboard Warrior |

To get to the sensor the mirror surrounding splits down the middle and seperates in half, the mirror comes off with a quarter turn and the sensor just clips in to the screens moulded in bracket.

Thanks for the reply. Yes, I agree but I'm not sure how the plastic cover comes off and I don't want to break it. |

Who replaced the screen and was it a genuine screen they used ? |

It was replaced by a company called Autoglaze - insurers approved firm and yes it is the proper article. Heated screen and auto lights working ok just the auto wipers.
