There are two models - sunroof and non-sunroof. Sunroof model is slightly higher I believe, to allow clearance with roof open. (If I am wrong, I am sure someone will tell us!) 10MY (Sept 09) TD4 HSE Auto in Stornoway Grey (Now Gone)

As above there are 2 types of rail available.I have fitted them to mine, nice easy job nothing that you need to worry about.

Paul, or anybody. Can you post a picture of the strengthening/cross bar as I'm unsure whether previous owner fitted it correctly as the thicker side is to the front?

Check an airplane wing next time you fly. Thankfully the thicker side is to the front 10MY (Sept 09) TD4 HSE Auto in Stornoway Grey (Now Gone)

On the underside of the bar clamp fittings there is an arrow, at least on mine, & the instructions noted it as well, I made the assumption that the arrow was pointing to the front on the car. I was going to install it this way anyway as mentioned in previous post. The bar as far as I am concerned is a wing and needs to be installed accordingly.
