On second thoughts all you would need to do is buy a spare 12N plug without wiring it up, then if you plug it in the sensors would be disabled |

I think Land Rover has to apply a software update when you have a tow bar fitted to tell the system to disable the park sensors when hooked up to a trailer |

Yes there is a software update to be applied, but you'd have thought that by having it fitted by LR they should have got it right, and tested it. Don't think there is a way for the driver to turn off the reversing alarm. Is it possible to plug into another trailer or a lighting board to confirm that the problem is the same? sounds like its back to the dealer I'm afraid. |

went to the stealers today... one and a half hours later, they came back saying they couldnt fix it and that i need a 'trailer module'. The sensors thought i had a trailer hitched up therefore they were not working.

I would say you let the dealers get on with their order and meantime you see what happens with your sensors.
