Rear Wheel Bearing

Hi All,

Am about to change a rear wheel bearing on 2008 model & wondered if anyone has a list of torques required for putting it all back together?

Any tips/advice greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

Nick

I had mine changed by a mate about 6 months ago, I dont know about any torque setting, but he said the whole wheel hub had to come off and his 4 ton press was not strong enough.
The part i got was a britpart bearing for just under £20 from the bay. My he charged me £80 for doing it. Not to bad really. I6 WITH GAS CONVERSION

Don't be so quick to put down the members, not everyone has access to the information needed.
You will be removing the wheel knuckle so anything associated with that.

Thanks for the response. Would you also have the torque for the Axle/Hub nut?

Touche, but one can only offer help to others if you have the knowledge to be of use! Not knowing a great deal about Freelander 2's, I wouldn't consider my knowledge of use to anyone here yet!

Exactly, and unfortunately that's why I, and I assume all the others who read your post, were unable to help you.
