Unless Land Rover pull something out the bag in the next 2 to 3 years, it's going to be the F-Pace for me especially with it coming with the 3.0L engine, no 7 seats and looks like a nicer interior from the pictures. MY13 HSE LUX Aintree Green

Is this an option for an FL2 replacement?

Having looked through the new brochures & online configurer for the recently launched, and oddly named Jaguar F-Pace, I wonder if it may prove a useful alternative to FL2 owners who like me were underwhelmed by the DS in the flesh?

It looks reasonable and has some interesting functionality, but there again the DS brochure was alluring too! Any thoughts? Rolling Eyes Life is not a dress rehearsal!

It certainly could be an option, not cheap though, spec it up and the price gets eye watering Shocked

I've merged it into the existing thread yo keep all the F-Pace stuff together or we will end up with fragmented talk on the subject Thumbs Up

Looks like an XJ had a dirty fling with a Q5 in a back alley. Incidentally I think my dad is buying one. FL2 TD4 GS 60 reg Facelift - so many issues
2019 DS. Terribly unreliable.
Sold DS for a 2021 Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV. Fingers crossed....
Sold Outlander for a 2014 SD4 SE Tech because I’m mental
Now greatly regret selling the Outlander. MPG of the FL2 is atrocious and so are the fuel bills. Fun though 😎
Couldn’t afford the fuel bills so back to an older Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV. Significantly better than I remembered it to be…

The F Pace is stunning in the flesh, especially with 22" alloys. The boot looked a lot bigger than my Freelander 2 boot, plus there was a load of space under the boot floor. Unfortunately I did not have the keys or the opportunity not take pictures. Price wise it starts far cheaper than I expected. It makes my choice of next car even harder, DS or F Pace?

Gav.

It's overpriced, lacks off road ability against the Fl2, low slung driving position, sloping roofline everything the DS has been critised for as a Fl2 alternative. Really can't see it as a Freelander replacement. 21MY Defender 90 S 3.0 D200
