What will happen to damaged new LRs on grounded ship.

Just wonder what will happen to vehicles damaged when ship ran aground and part flooded. All will be LHD I think.
A couple of years ago on return to Southampton from a cruise and on deck and waiting turn to disembark I watched dozens of LHD FL2 face lift models being loaded on to one of these giant ships. They were certainly tested for acceleration, stability control and suspension defects the way they were rallied on to ship. A minibus followed every so often to bring drivers back for next load. All FL2's (3) Gone

Assuming they are damaged, there have been no reports of a cargo shift, or that the water reached the car deck my PC is slightly to the right of Genghis

I was reading that when a car arring ship ran aground a few years back they scrapped all the cars in fear that if sold and something went wrong later on they would be sued.

When I brought the xenon lights for my car,the place I brought them from had a whole warehouse full of LR car parts that were new.

When I asked where they came from he told me that they were sold in container lots of new cars that had been broken before they were registered. He had lots of parts for LH drive cars as well, so I guess that's what happens to some cars

So long as it doesn't cause delays to my Disco Sport, should any of the cars need to be reordered. 21MY Defender 90 S 3.0 D200

IT was cargo shift that punched a hole in the side Laughing all be it a big digger, then once she started taking on water and listed over more plant gear broke loose and fell Thumbs Up

The way they normaly pack the ships and the lean she has would mean most of the cargo will be dented, plus with salt on board most of the LRs would have rusted to death by now anyways Rolling with laughter

I know the divers and the tug crews that are out with her Thumbs Up Freelander 57 plate XS Blue Auto

Would be more than happy with a disco 4, if there was one going. Think I could live with a few dents and salty air if it was dirt cheap ( oh but a dream ) Freelander 57 plate XS Blue Auto

Im sure there are plenty of repairable LRs with nothing much more than panel damage. Worth a punt at the right money but will in all likelihood be scrapped?
