Not an option to live without I'm afraid as a cold car gives me severe pain in the ears... every time SWMBO drives it |

Good thinking. Have just phoned them and they obviously have access to different systems than my local dealer as they were able to tell me where and when the heater recall was done... Looks like its up to me to fix it... Assuming its part of the heater matrix and and probably means I need to pull half the dash out to get to it. How hard can it be |

OK, so when I look at the recall notice (http://lr-club.com/index.php?act=attach&am...t&id=114595) it says its about an hour to do the work described which I thought was good news for me.

Thanks, but that's same recall notice as I've already looked at I'm afraid.

FWIW I bought a 13 year old Audi TT 3.2 VR6 MK1. We had all 6 coil packs replaced by Audi FOC as there was an outstanding recall despite if not seeing an Audi dealership since it's warranty expired, and it had been remapped. Jules |
