I think that is a bit low. I ordered an extension box for the top part.

Your original position does look as if it's too low.
Mine is a lot higher and like Rog B, mine us absolutely fine in standard form.

I suppose it's down to how tall you are. Confused
If you're short, your upper arms will be shorter, your seat will be set higher and therefore your cubbybox armrest may be too low.

I'm tall, got long upper arms and my seat is therefore set at its lowest position and as mentioned the armrest height is ideal for me.

Hope this helps. Thumbs Up FL2 now gone and have a couple of items left for sale:-

Brodit active iPhone holder + Brodit dash clip,
Bluetooth Music Streaming Module.

Greece 2008 Freelander 2 i6 HSE Auto Sumatra Black

@charisme1
I ordered the extension from the same company in Italy (I think that the extension box is appr. 5cm). No problem with the strength and durability as I have it for 7 years and 210.000Km.

@ronp
I wanted the armrest to be at the same height with the original armrests, it is by far more comfortable. I do not think that driver’s height is a key factor since I am 6'4'' and I still find the original cubby box a bit low. May be the armrest with the cubby box to have a height difference.

France 2012 Freelander 2 TD4 S Manual Santorini Black

@Kostaschrys thank you very much for your reply,

Please I can't find the extension of the cubby box on the website of the Italian company (www.woodcompany.com)

All I found is an option for adjusting the length and not the height.

Can you please help ? Freelander 2 TD4 S / Santorini black / Genuine factory GPS with Bluetooth phone connection / Front and Rear parking aids
