Thanks HM. Have you had a look at the lower pulley on the drivers side of the engine bay? If I lift the bonnet and shine a tourch onto it from the top I can see mine wobble, just wondered if yours was the same. |

Hi, thanks or the update. The garage suspects the alternator pulley and tensioner so booked in a week on Monday. I had the crankshaft pulley replaced with the sensor as mine was wobbling and the garage inspected the noise then, unfortunately they couldn't get hold of the other parts on the day so I have had to book it in again. At least I am more hopeful of a resolution with your result. Great news, glad you are sorted. |

Bit of added info, my fuel consumption has improved by nearly 2mpg so is about 38mpg on winter tyres now. We haven't had any of the white stuff some of you lucky soles have, just the usual rain interspersed with biting wind! |

Correctly fitted cam pulleys do not wobble! Sorry, you need to review the work and ensure everything is fitted correctly. Something ain't right! 10MY (Sept 09) TD4 HSE Auto in Stornoway Grey (Now Gone)
