Brakes rear ventilated Si4 petrol are solid.

On the Australian brochures MY13, 14 & 15, the rear brakes show 302mm ventilated for the Si4 (petrol).

But the rear discs on my car are 302 mm solid.

The front brakes are 316 mm ventilated as mentioned in the brochures. It is nice to have the 316 mm instead of the 302 mm where most of the braking is being done.

But really, if Rear Type states Ventilated Disc they should be ventilated. Procrastination, mankind's greatest labour saving device!

It's all market dependant. The hotter Countires have vented rears, the cooler countries don't. Freelander 2 HSE Lux 2013MY - Barolo Black with Ivory Leather. Alpine DVD - Privacy -Evoque 20" Dynamic Wheels and more to come.........

I was looking at the Australian brochures so we are not getting what LR has advertised for Australia.

In Sydney a couple of years ago we had 46 celsius. This was 20 metres from the ocean and in the shade.

It's why the smarter Australians buy white cars, and it's hotter inland.

Australian weather 'bom. gov .au' Procrastination, mankind's greatest labour saving device!
