Seasons greetings to all on Christmas Eve. Much cooler and seasonal temperatures today as I ran a few errands including picking up the turkey from the local butchers. 10 of us for dinner at our house tomorrow.

Just going to settle in later with a homemade mince pie, a glass of whisky (25 year old single malt) and watch Skyfall. Though not on ITV as the adverts are annoying so I'll dig the Blu-Ray disc out.

Quiet night in, Santa has been rumbled this year so not quite the same although young Taz is still very excited.
Having a couple of cans of lager, first drink in 4 months so will be quite merry very soon

ITV is dreadful at the best of times, the ads are too long, much better to tape something, if anything is of interest, and watch the following day, remote in hand to whizz past them.

Went to the dentist this afternoon after my crown and pin came off, right at the front of the upper jaw
When I got there, he noticed part of the root canal had broken but managed to rebuild it and cement the crown back on.
Took him over half an hour.
Now I can enjoy Christmas the NHS dentist charged me just 13 quid .
Good job I didn't loose the crown! Another member of the failed FL2 clutch/DMF club, twice.

Embarrassing as it is, I have just found the original Star Trek on a channel I didn't know I had. Blast from the past with a port in hand.
