Mirror movement

Just noticed that the drivers side mirror has some up/down play if I wiggle it. Had just washed the car and was drying it when the mirror made a clonk as I dried the underside. The passenger side seems solid. Are there any screws/bolts that may have worked loose which I can tighten, or is it a visit to the dealer job? FL2 Metropolis, Loire Blue, ebony/ivory

Rather than risk breaking it it must still be under warranty
I would let the dealer take a look.

Yep its under warranty, just did not fancy a 120 mile round trip if it was something relatively simple. As a retired engineer I am more than happy working on stuff but not having a workshop manual and the knowledge on how the thing actually comes apart I am loathe to start on it blind. Anyhow I have a DS drive booked for next week so I may see if they can have a look whilst I'm there. FL2 Metropolis, Loire Blue, ebony/ivory
