You could get a strap for now such as this one.
Not the prettiest thing but probably secure and accessable. Just dont sit a kid next to it.

United Kingdom 2007 Freelander 2 i6 XS Auto Zermatt Silver

I was awakened at 3am the other morning with the wife shouting "your cars on fire"

By the time I was outside, less than 60 seconds later, near naked with my car keys in hand, I saw it was actually next doors car engine not mine

I grabbed the 1kg extinguisher from my car boot and did my best to deliver its payload to the under bonnet area but it was embarrassing

It delayed the burn for about 30 seconds and then the flames laughed at me

Hindsight - getting a larger extinguisher, probably an industrial type 4kg, the small ones are good enough for a tiny fires and thats it, certainly no good for engine fires or a blaze that's got a grip of your interior

something is better than nothing though as you never know what the situation will be until it happens - FL2 3.2 i6 - There is no Replacement for Displacement

If my wife ever sells my stuff for what I told her I paid for it, there will be some bargains out there!
