Does it do this with both keys? If not then battery in the key must be your first port of call and there are instructions on this forum on how to replace it. Remember that the key charges up inductively whilst driving. I have had similar erratic opening fixed with a new battery.

Wizking, thanks for suggested post. I will try JBC's method tomorrow and see if it works. The door lock malfunction is not hugely important in the scheme of things, just irritating - and may degrade further and cause more problems - so I guess I'll just keep playing until I get it sorted. |
