Which? appear to love all BMWs, they seem to get extra marks for just having the BMW "style". If that isn't to your taste then there are other equally competent cars out there. I've never owned a BMW but did consider the X3 when I replaced my Freelander a year ago.

I have to admit I gave Volvo a good kicking for the hassle I've been dragged through with the C30 I bought new 2 years ago. it's been at the dealers 4 times this year for an engine fault that they still can't find - even after taking the whole top end apart as a "good will gesture"
