Half asleep this morning I stupidly put the unleaded pump in the car and started to fill ... Was going to put £50 in ... 47p in the pump stops and pushes backwards ... Try to put more in ... Nothing ... Then realise my mistake ... What a great system ... Had to read the manual to find the reset tool and how to do it and looked a right di@k in the forecourt ... 47p worth? I can recall driving in to a garage in 60's when they served you and saying "put £1 worth in please" and the attendant later saying I could only get 15/- (75p) worth in.

I remember, with my first car, saying "four gallons please" then changing my mind and upping it to "a quid's worth". Those were the days!
