I take it the fuzz paid him a visit. I bet if the traffic warden was out on foot and was a big guy like Chris Hemsworth aka Thor (like me before I got a desk job Wink Laughing ), he would have just scuttled past and had a little moan.

Nasty Censored he did well to keep his cool

I got done in b and q car park when I parked in a parents only space with my 10 year old
Appealed the £80 fine but they said "bring it on" your child was too old to qualify to use the space

Had a walk round and the only sign stating the rules was over 200m away
Just another fast buck for the private owners waiting for individual to fall prey

No wonder scum bags drive an uninsured un taxed car with false plates, the fine if they get caught is roughly the same as 3 parking tickets and still less than the cost of insurance
No wonder this country is in such a mess - FL2 3.2 i6 - There is no Replacement for Displacement

You got done in a B and Q car park, you were had, it's an unenforceable invoice request not a parking fine.
Had a few of them and never paid a single one, although I believe the law has changed and they can now demand you to name the driver. However, they will have to take you to court and prove the offence if they pursue it.

As for the motorist, beneath contempt.

Most car parks in St helens are privately owned and enforced
Multiple complaints over the year on the ruthlessness of the way they are enforced
Merseyside council confirmed this to me before I appealed,

Too busy to attend court so paid it, complained to b and q and told them they had lost a customer that spends 000s a year and closed my trade account, not that they gave a Censored

Maybe if enough do the same businesses will step up to the mark

Most shoppers now go out of town to the usual estates with no hassle free parking
RIP town centres and shops on privately owned car parks - FL2 3.2 i6 - There is no Replacement for Displacement

If it's private firm they cannot enforce it, only the police or the council can give you a fine
Private firms will give you something that looks like a fine but is called a parking charge notice, this amounts to a bill for parking not a fine.
They are scum and the directors of these companies details are on the web to be found, go to their house and call them a Censored Laughing

These big stores are not doing themselves any favours really in the long run, I will tend to use them as showrooms and then come home and order online, very often from somwhere less expensive.

A friend of mine was driving home in the early hours and stopped at Rownhams Services on M27 for a quick nap. He woke up about three hours later, used the facilities and then drove home. A couple of weeks later he received a "fine" of about £70 as he had overstayed the 2 hours limit. The car park was empty, he was tired and for him to have carried on would have been unsafe.
