RIP Phil Hughes

Sadly passed away early this morning. Such a sad loss of a young life to a freak accident.

i don't really follow cricket at all but a sad loss for those who knew him

Looks to be a freak accident, especially as he was wearing a helmet, the video footage going about does not show the impact point but must have hit something or the impact of him falling face first to the ground when he passed out did either way not good news Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis

United Kingdom 2013 Freelander 2 TD4 XS Manual Ipanema Sand

Ball hit the back of his neck causing a mass bleed into the brain. Happened once before in cricket apparently, but a real freak accident.
Very sad and thoughts with his family, friends and the poor bowler who couldn't have prevented this. _________________
