Just had a thought, if I start my engine and then get out of the car the engine continues to run. Say I was opening a gate or something and a scrote jumped in the car and tried to drive off, could I stop the engine with the remote? Nope. Car will know key is out of range but you can't stop it. Scrote would need to reprogram another key to restart it though, but thats easy with the right kit. Td4 XS manual, Orkney Grey, MY2014

Buy a big dog to sit on the passenger seat or failing that take the wife out and make her open the gate
Cures the scrote problem
