I present their description for analysis....

Quote:
Be persistently re-adjusted to the new needs that the support load is given too little admiration. However, a load of the coupling point, which adheres to the standards needed for a comfortable towing. Both the trailer designer and the car manufacturers calculate the maximum vertical load due to the load distribution on the axles as well as on the coupling point. The extreme vertical load leads when ZugPKW to an oversized load on the rear axle, and a kriminelen relief of the front axle. Specifically latter includes the steering axis and possibly the drive axle. In the case of a tandem chassis, of which you speak whenever two axes are affected, can lead to a critical load on the front axle. In the case of a borderline risk of fracture stress, both at the ball coupling and on the drawbar as such. The SPACCER ® is produced from solid aluminum special spiral ring that is custom made each spring like a glove. As a result, it is possible when a trailer to compensate for the uneven weight shift. With a SPACCER ® cars all makes and models can be set higher by up to five cm. A single SPACCER ® will place your automobile higher on a wheel to get good 12mm. Each SPACCER ® is supplied including a TÜV test report. The SPACCER ® retains the original suspension of your Land Rover Freelander 2, which is why at all does not change the familiar feeling of comfort and the system can be used even with electronic chassis.

Shocked Shocked I'm worried about the flux capacitors....

hmm, I would suggest the same lift all round, the COG could possibly affect the systems on the car as well as upset the handling.
It would also look daft?

There is a post on here somwhere with advice on the maximum lift, any higher and the driveshafts will be damaged, have a dig around it might save you grief and money Thumbs Up

For that sort of money it would be cheaper to trade up to something with more ground clearance by design Thud

No, £261 will get you 12mm lift all round. You could get that much lift from an oversized set of tyres, it hardly seems worth going to the effort of tightening the spring compressors to only get 12mm. To get a thoroughly worthwhile 48mm/2" would cost a whopping £1044.

And I've just noticed that if you buy the extra rubber bits you could go all the way to 60mm for a grand total of £1,324.47

Alternatively £2,000 will get you this http://www.oldwindsormotorcompany.co.uk/us...state-5981

I would not lift my fl2 2 inches.
12 mm + 145/65/16 tyres is better than standard IMO

245/65/17
I,am awake now lol

Tyres the same width as a mini could be a bit unstable!

They cost as a complete basic suspension kit.
They cost more than double of the best set of springs in the market.

Believe me, they are definitely expensive but are a good solution to have the car lifted a bit...

You have also to consider the installation costs. However if you decide to try them, let us know the final result! I'm interested too. Whistle
