Alpine 6-disc CD player

I have a MY2008 td4. Was wondering what format CDS play on the head unit. Will it play MP3 formats?

the cd player will play mp3, wma formats I have put 6 disk albums on one mp3 disk. don't forget setting the mp3 bit rate to the highest setting as 256 kbps sounds better.
