United Kingdom 2009 Freelander 2 TD4_e XS Manual Stornoway Grey
Changing the Speedo Cluster

Good Afternoon, I currently have a 2009 Freelander 2 and quite like the idea of changing the Speedo Cluster to a 2012/13/14 one.

From this

To This

Do people know if this can be done, will it be straight forward or will other wiring be needed?

Thanks
Chris

The two cars use different BCM's (Body Control Modules), I doubt it will be straightforward.
Nothing is impossible, of course, but whether the aggravation endured along the way will be worth it remains to be seen.
Don't forget much of the information on the screens is controlled via the column stalks and steering wheel so they will need to be changed or adapted too Thumbs Up

It is all but impossible to do this upgrade. The newer car has the JLR family body control module as Taz has said, so it would be a complete body loom and system change. Freelander 2 HSE Lux 2013MY - Barolo Black with Ivory Leather.
