Just got back into the country with my iphone updated to iOS8.0.2 and it's now working hopelessly using my ipod connection in car. Cant skip tracks - just shows me the new track name and stays on the exiting tracks. Also, cant seem to navigate artists, etc. properly. Now connecting via BT as this seems unaffected by the firmware upgrade.

Anyone else seen this or am I going mad??

Try debonding then rebounding the phone. Mine went crazy but this fixed it. Do it now ! Your a long time dead !!

Hi All, tried both fixes as suggested as I was having the same problem, now nothing works either as ipod or Bluetooth re audio.

try a different iphone to make sure its that and not the car

Just tried a different iPhone, must be the gizmo/system, still no USB connection other than keeps on same track, however connection vie Bluetooth is working fine except there is no track list when using that.
no great worries, at least I have my music and able to charge at same time.

Upgraded to iOS 8.1 and all seems fixed.

Definitely an iOS issue here, nervous about upgrading to next release now!

just upgraded to 8.1
wished I hadn't upgraded to 8 , I was updating my iTunes and it caught me on the hop , but all seems ok now

I upgraded to 8.1 and now my iPad rings (and can be answered) when someone calls my mobile. Can switch it off though in FaceTime settings.

annoyingly the problem has re-appeared, even though my phone firmware hasn't upgraded recently. How does that work???

Just had a service so I can presume the SW in my car is bang up to date.

Very annoying as i can only navigate and control my music from the phone.
