Turbo and resonance.

This may seem a very silly question to those whom know , does the turbo on the 07 plate 2.2 diesel L2 have variable intake vanes ? Secondly , I have been told by a garage that the resonance I can hear /feel when accelerating in 6th between 1600 rpm and 2000 is coming from the rear diff support bushes [ which are like concrete , very solid ] and he recommends I replace them , what is the forums view point ?

1. Yes.

2. It's possible, because on the later models, on the driveshaft, at the input of the Haldex/Diff, was added a vibration dampening mass.
