The rubber seal around the offside rear door has split. How easy is it to remove the split seal and then attach a new replacement.

Is it the door seal or the door recess seal that clips to the inner frame? Foraging near Gaydon....

In which case, I can't help. I recently temporarily pushed back on my N/S door recess seal until it could be replaced under warranty, but that was not the door seal. Foraging near Gaydon....
