Ours does a similar thing; the song title displayed on the screen does not always match what's actually playing on the iPhone... |

Thanks for the reply. Don't think its that because although mines updated to 8, my girlfriends is still on 7, yet the problem is still there. Other than this issue, the cars great- what a difference the spec makes !- especially the Windsor leather, and electric seats. And the sound system is incredible ( when it works!)

Nic , put your music on a USB stick , the sound is much better than using the phone. Do it now ! Your a long time dead !! |

Does the same thing happen if you're connected by either bluetooth or USB? I'm just wondering if it's getting confused by being connected both ways at the same time. |

I don't know, but didn't the later cars introduce playing music over bluetooth, whilst in the earlier cars bluetooth was for the phone only? If so you could effectively have two connections to the same music device. Perhaps worth trying one at a time just to see what happens. |

Hi nic, I store all of my music on a hard drive . The music on my iTunes is linked to the music on the hard drive in the normal way . All of my music is on MP3 format. I bought a mini usb stick (32gb) and i copied & pasted the music to the stick . The sound is much better from the stick than any other source. To me the sound via Bluetooth sounds a under waterish, using the aux connection is good but a footer to use . Do it now ! Your a long time dead !! |
