That is strange.... Two ways to tell if it's a MY15:

The latter. They are only called Metropolis in the UK and Russia. I would suggest that if the clocks are in MPH and not KMH, then accept it. Personally, would far rather it was called what it actually is, ie HSE Lux, than some poncy run-out name. You might want to check with TOPiX and DVLA how they have it recorded as well, as may throw up an issue when you come to insure it.

AFAIK, TPMS is only fitted to cars destined for the North American market.....I may be wrong with MY2015 though. Foraging near Gaydon.... 覧覧覧覧覧覧覧 MY13 HSE Lux SD4, Baltic Blue - current, 30,000> miles without fault MY12 HSE 2.2 SD4, Sumatra Black - gone after 10 months/43,000 fault-free miles |

Hi stownrow, Thanks for these two useful points, I will have a look and see if these features are present on the vehicle. From what I am reading it would appear that the Metropolis and HSE Lux are identical vehicles in terms of specification and it is purely a marketing exercise to re-badge the model |

Hi Badger1970, I agree with your sentiment on the badging, in actual fact the HSE Lux badge looks rather smarter than the Metropolis badge on the vehicle. What can I check in TOPiX? I have looked at the web page but it would appear you have to be a dealer or independent trader to gain access to anything useful |

By registering as an individual with no payment needed, you will be able to input your VIN and access every detail of the build including any outstanding problems. |

You are absolutely correct. It is no more than that. From a personal perspective, if you ask anyone who knows Land Rovers or Range Rovers of any sort (Defender excluded), they all know what you are talking about when you say HSE. The same cannot be said of 'Metropolis', so IF I was replacing mine now and it came with that badge on the Tailgate, the first thing that I would do is remove it and replace it with this:
