I have a 2011 MY and for the first time I have had a service done away from the main dealers. They have reset the service message but can't do the Oil Service one. I know that the main dealer has always reset both messages so does that mean I will have to go to the main dealer to get it reset?

I have looked at the other posts but they seem to just cover the Service message reset not the Oil Service one. Andyfr

Oil Service message is a Dealer visit or a good Indy who has access to the Autologic Diagnostics.

Okay, thanks. The indy I used had just had a laptop failure so I will have to wait until it's fixed. I was hoping that there was some combination which would allow me to do it. Andyfr

What ad says is right but there are other diagnostic tools that will do it. For example, I have an Autel Maxidas DS708 which will do it, so there may be a wider choice of places to go if you ask around. John
