commenced Retrofitting 2013 Signature lights - help needed

Hi Guys

I know there has been a whole bunch of threads on this topic but I have done a search, even found this thread http://www.freel2.com/forum/post211487.html#211487 but unfortunatley after reading it I was more confused than when I started!

So forgetting my head spinning for a second I have seen how many people have successfully upgraded the lights and decided to embark on this mission so any further help would be great!

The details:

I have a 2011 FL2 and I have just bought 2013 Halogen Headlights with signature strip.

They arrived today and I installed them right away. The lights physically fit the car instantly, the housing, screws and pins are all the same size and can be installed in 2 minutes per side.

When I installed them if you turn the car on the signature strip instantly comes on and looks great however the following errors are noticed;

1) if you indicate, the round (7bulb LED) part of the light will flash instead of the orange indicator bulb.
2) The headlight bulb does not turn on, despite changing all the light settings on and off in the car
3) The high beam does not turn on, again despite selecting highbeam on the steering column.

Naturally this shows the lights work but the pins are in the wrong order on the car compared to the new lights.

I have booked my car in for Monday at the auto electrician but he asked if I have a copy of the new wiring diagram to get them working, I have printed the one from the link above but is that all he will need? also I'm worried that one was a rough do-it-yourself workaround and that perhaps there was a simpler more effective method?

As I have no knowlege of wiring/electrical work this will just be going to an auto electrician to execute, any instructions I can pass on to him to quickly and easily get these lights to behave as they should would be a great help

thanks, Luke 2011 black FL2

Could the car just need recoding?
Just read the link and seen that the wiring is different!

Ignore my recoding statement.
